In the 1960s a company called S.A.V.E was started based in Aldenham. With the first change in ownership, the company moved
to Prestwood in Buckinghamshire. Then in 1986 it came to Kings Langley to my
very good friend, the late Barry Deane. At this time the name was change to
Langley Lighting and I became involved with the business. In 1999
when he passed away I took over the business. I in turn moved it to Leverstock Green in Hemel Hempstead, where it remains to this day.
Over time I have invested in new and
different equipment, modern lighting desks, LED pars, UHF radio mics to list
just some.
Also during the last decade I have become
involved with a number of other groups. Sometimes just hiring them kit,
others helping with rigging or get ins and sometimes providing all lighting
and sound requirements. I also have been involved in producing video
material for shows such as Mack and Mabel, and Chess for Watford Operatic.
